Treatment Center Investment & Valuation Retreat

In December 2022, Dr. Van Duser presented on behalf of Pacific Analytics at the TCIV Retreat alongside Altior Healthcare CEO Paul Auchterlonie, providing insight into the value of outcomes research for treatment organizations. Key areas that can be improved with outcomes research are marketing and admissions, increasing value for negotiating insurance contracts and partnerships, and recruitment of practitioners who implement this feedback to improve their practice. An outline of the process of conducting a study that follows all applicable standards and ethical guidelines was also presented, alongside results from Pacific Analytics’ studies with Paradigm Treatment Centers on reduction of patient symptoms and prevention of future mental health-related hospitalization or relapse. These studies are detailed further in the following sections.
